Meet other local Rowers/Scullers. The Southern Wisconsin Rowing Club currently rows out of George Williams College Campus in Williams Bay, WI. (See it Live; here: http://192.203.224.2:8090/view/view.shtml )
We are mainly recreational & fitness rowers/scullers. Most of our sculling is done in recreational and open water rowing shells and a few racing shells as well. Discuss Crew,Sculling, and all things Rowing!
Many of our club members own their own boats, but the club is working on raising money to purchase a fleet of it's own boats for lessons and member use. In the meantime, Midwest Rowing,LLC has been kind enough to make boats available for the club to use. (http://www.midwestrowing.net/)
The club will hold informal 'Learn to row days' as well as local outings and practices. We may also travel to regattas and distance races if there is sufficient interest in the club.

Always double check the Fox Lake/Northern Illinois Rowing Meetup group for events as well. Sometimes I do not get all events on both calendars. (please don't double RSVP though :)

I look forward to seeing everyone on the water.

“I am looking into purchasing an Echo Islander and getting into open water rowing. I currently row a currach, which is a traditional fixed seat boat from Ireland. I've never sculled before and would like to learn how.”
