If you have never rowed before and would like to learn, this is for you.
You will be given a basic overview of the fundamentals of sculling and then perform several land drills and some dock side drills. If all goes well and weather permitting, you will row a recreational single that same lesson

This year the North American Open Water Rowing Championships are being held in conjuction with the Blackburn Challenge in Gloucester, MA. (see link below)
The race consists of a 20 mile course around Cape Ann.
If there is sufficient interest, Midwest Rowing, LLC may be able to transport shells to the event for interested competitors and may also have room available in the truck for those who would rather not fly but enjoy the scenery along the way....
