The Head of the Oklahoma will be held Oct 4&5 this year and promises to be one of the biggest and best head races of the season. I will be driving a large trailer to this event and have room to bring addtional boats.
If you plan to attend,please let me know and make arrangements in advance. If you would like to fly down and be part of this great event in the newly renovated "bricktown" section of OKC, it is a fun weekend. There are often very cheap flight/car rental deals into OKC, Tulsa or Dallas. Sometimes it just seems that airfare to OKC is always just a little more, so if you don't mind a little drive you can often save some $.

Sunday June 8th Crystal Lake Rowing Club will be participating in US Rowing?s national learn to row day. As one of the coaches at CLRC I will be helping with this event. We will be running a clinic from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Main Beach. We are expecting a large turnout of people wanting to give rowing a try, so come meet other interested people like yourself. This event is open to anyone and everyone. The rowing club does not charge a fee but if you are not a Crystal Lake resident there will be a fee to enter Main beach.

Lake Geneva Marathon and Adventure Races, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin are welcoming all 'human powered' craft including rowing shells! This extreme event includes a certified marathon, marathon walk, marathon relay, 22 mile Euro cross-country race on the famous Lake Geneva Lake Path, Half marathon, 10k, 5k, and a run/kayak adventure race.

The Crystal Lake Rowing Club will be teaching sculling lessons on Saturday morning. I am bringing a trailer load of Recreational & open water singles for people to try. If you would like to join us, please rsvp &/or call Erich @ 262 203-1997.

Event Description: Crystal Lake Rowing Club is having an outing this Sunday morning starting at 8:00 am. I will be bringing a number of boats for people to row.
Part of this is to benefit the CLRC as they are working with UIChicago on a waterway usage study. UIC is doing some study on waterway use and will be donating money to the club for each rower we can get out Sunday morning.
This is a win/win for all of us. We get to go rowing somewhere new and meet a bunch of great people and UIC donates $ to the CLRC for each one of us that goes rowing!
