Wave Rowers
|
I believe there are many people like myself that own and row open water singles or doubles and would like some pleasant company. We just want to go our own way and have fun. Having fun is the operative phrase here. Those of you who have little time may find this meet up easier, than a formal club with a more traditional structure. We meet the first of every month of warm weather and row together. All ideas are welcome. If you love to row and own your own boat this might be just the thing. We teach as we are able and lend equipment when it's available. Open Water Rowing is a fantastic sport and it is wonderful to watch new people discover the fun, confidence and sense of freedom it brings to them. A narrative of the May 4th meeting is posted in the About Us section to the left. Click on About Us and then click Latest Pages Added. For our members there are post of interest on the Message Board. Our next meeting:
Wave Rowers - Selby Bay Meet to Row
First we wish to gather to welcome the Selby Bay Rowing Center into our midsts. This is a rare and wonderful thing to have a place to keep our shells in community without the restrictions and expense of club memberships. I think it would be nice if we stopped long enough to let David Neff say a few words to properly present and orient us to the new open water rowing facility. Read more
