Introduction
I have been in the marine industry for over 20 years and sailing for over 30. I currently live on and sell Sail Boats. The best saying I have ever heard is that there is nothing better than messing about with boats.

    I jsut realized I am going to be on the road Sunday returning from hilton Head and will most probaly miss the meeting. I am interetesed in open water rowing although I know little about it. I own an Alden Star, which I bought before I took up racing with the Greenwich Water Club. I jsut took up rowing four years ago at the age of 59 and absolutely love it.

  • “ Have been out to the Thimbles a couple of times...would make a good open water row.. that picture was from a trip in the Adirondacks, but mainly am on the Hudson from The Bear Mtn Bridge north to Hudson. Best launch is out of the new $3M boathouse at Marist in Poughkeepsie where the Mid Hudson Rowing Assn has a bay along with other rowing groups. Hope to join with you all some time on the water.
