This group is for people who love the art of film.  This is not a group for going to the movies to "turn your brain off" and just escape.  If you want to to see and discuss non-mainstream, independent, foreign, art house, classic and documentary films then you are more than welcome to join this group.  This is an active group!  There will be at least one film screening pretty much every weekend!  I will be scheduling regular meetups to go see movies at the Landmarks E Street and Bethesda Row, A …

We are a group of movie fans who like to watch foreign movies and independent films. We normally meet before or after the movie over a coffee or a meal to socialize and talk about movies. To help new members find the group, we try to: 1) meet at the same time (25 min before movie starts; 5-10 minutes later, we go in to get seats); 2) meet at an easy-to-find location;  3) sit at the same place (third or fourth center row from the back). See you at the movies!

Seeing an entire row of Flyers fans at a Caps game when they weren't even playing Philly made me realize the obvious: I'm not the only Flyers fan in Caps territory - I just haven't met any yet. This could turn into a good way to get group discounted tickets to hockey games. This could be a way to get fans together at a bar. Really it's up to the members.
